Tour Operations and Force Majeure

Situations defined as force majeure, which may prevent the start, continuation, or completion of package tours despite all due care and precautions, can occur. In such instances, tour cancellations or program changes may be necessary. Consequently, TURAXUS TRAVEL cannot be held directly responsible for contract breaches or non-performance resulting from force majeure. Such circumstances may include:

  • Natural Disasters and Epidemics: Earthquakes, fires, volcanic eruptions, floods, storms, hurricanes, dense fog, avalanches, lightning strikes, nuclear or chemical disasters, and widespread epidemics.

  • Unforeseen Extraordinary Events: States of war or mobilization, public uprisings, terrorist acts, sabotage, civil unrest, strikes, or government sanctions or embargoes that impede international travel.

In these situations, TURAXUS TRAVEL's responsibility is to act as required by the contract and to inform you as soon as possible. You will be notified of any changes to the program or alternative arrangements.

Your Responsibilities and Cancellation Procedures

We at TURAXUS TRAVEL believe that a pleasant travel experience also depends on your responsibilities. It is your duty to arrive on time at the designated meeting point for your purchased tour or activity. No refund will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour date. For cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, TURAXUS TRAVEL reserves the right to partially or fully refund the paid amount, excluding taxes, upon presentation of an official doctor's report or similar documentation. This rule is crucial to ensure smooth travel plans for both you and other participants.
