Scuba Diving in Antalya: Guided Boat Dives for Every Level

Scuba diving in Antalya lets you see the Mediterranean the way few holidaymakers do: from beneath the surface, with an instructor at your side and the boat waiting above. From April to November we run daily guided dive trips (in winter whenever weather and sea allow, usually 2–3 days a week) from Setur Marina (Konyaaltı Marina) and Kemer harbour for complete beginners and certified divers alike. Every trip includes two boat dives, full equipment, an instructor, a buffet lunch and insurance, and each dive is planned around your experience.

West of the city, the Konyaaltı cliffs drop into rocky walls, small caves and sandy patches where octopus shelter and bream move in loose shoals. Our local team has been diving this coastline for more than 25 years, and we operate as a licensed travel agency (TÜRSAB licence no. 14082).

Two Daily Dive Routes Along the Antalya Coast

We operate two routes so that your day starts close to your hotel. The dive plan, equipment and safety standards are identical on both; what changes is the departure point and the bays you explore.

Antalya route from Setur Marina

Best for guests staying in Antalya city, Konyaaltı, Lara, Kundu, Kadriye, Belek, Serik and Boğazkent. The boat dives at Çaltıcak Bay and Seagull Island, stops for lunch and a swim at Topçam Bay, and is back at the marina around 15:30. Full programme: Antalya scuba diving tour.

Kemer route from Kemer harbour

Designed for guests in Kemer, Beldibi, Göynük, Çamyuva and Tekirova, or anyone who simply prefers the Kemer coastline. Dives take place at Kiriş Cave Bay and Moonlight Bay, with the boat returning around 16:00. Full programme: Kemer scuba diving tour.

What a Dive Day From Konyaaltı Looks Like

1. Morning pick-up from your hotel – the exact time is confirmed when you book.
2. Around 10:00–10:30 – boarding at Setur Marina, safety briefing and equipment fitting. Depending on weather and season, the boat may also leave from Konyaaltı Fishing Harbour; we confirm the meeting point when you book.
3. First dive at Çaltıcak Bay – calm, clear water and about 20 minutes underwater with your instructor.
4. Buffet lunch and swim stop at Topçam Bay.
5. Second dive at Seagull Island – rock formations, good visibility and Mediterranean fish at close range.
6. Around 15:30 – back at the marina, with a return transfer for transfer-package guests.

During the short ride to the first site your instructor covers breathing from the regulator, equalising your ears and the hand signals used underwater, so nothing comes as a surprise once you descend.

Dive Sites Around Antalya and Kemer

Beginners dive in sheltered bays with sand, rock and plenty of marine life: Çaltıcak Bay, Topçam Bay and Seagull Island near Antalya, and Kiriş Cave Bay and Moonlight Bay near Kemer. Certified and advanced divers can also book two wrecks – the Paris II, reached by boat from Kemer harbour, and the Saint Didier, reached from the Lara area or Kaleiçi Yacht Harbour.

Who Can Join a Dive Trip in Antalya?

First-time divers – no licence required

On a try dive your instructor stays within arm's reach the whole time and the depth is kept between 5 and 12 metres. You do not have to be a strong swimmer; being comfortable in the water and attentive during the briefing is enough. Learn more about a beginner scuba dive without a licence.

Certified divers

Licensed divers follow a separate plan: Open Water Divers may go to 18 metres and Advanced Open Water Divers to 30 metres, which opens up deeper reefs, swim-throughs and the wrecks. Please bring your certification card and logbook.

Age and health requirements

The minimum diving age is 14, with no exceptions; younger children are welcome on board as non-divers. Pregnant women cannot dive. There is no fixed upper age limit – your health matters more than your age – so if you have a heart, lung or ear condition, consult your doctor and contact us before booking.

Prices are per adult and cover two boat dives, full equipment, instructor, buffet lunch and insurance.

When to Go Diving in Antalya

Our main season runs from April to November; we also dive in winter whenever weather and sea allow, usually 2–3 days a week. July to September brings the warmest water, around 26–29°C. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a diving licence?

No. Beginners dive with an instructor on a try dive. Only certified divers who want to follow their own dive plan need to bring a card.

How soon can I fly after diving?

Allow at least 12 hours after a single dive and 18 hours after several dives. We recommend waiting 24 hours.

Can a friend who does not dive come along?
